QUANTUMSPA Exclusive Rewards Program - Terms and Conditions
1 Commencement Date 1.1 The signatory on the QUANTUMSPA Exclusive Rewards Programme application form becomes entitled to the Loyalty Member Benefits as envisaged herein on the date he/she signs the Entry Form together with the Loyalty Card (“the commencement date”), whereupon he/she shall be called a Loyalty Member and/or Loyalty Card Holder. 1.2 The Loyalty Member shall from the commencement date, continue indefinitely to be a Loyalty Member until such time that he/she terminates his/her Loyalty Member Benefits with 30 (thirty) calendar days written notice or until such time that the Spa cancels this agreement with 30 (thirty) calendar days prior written notice to the Loyalty Member. 1.3 The Loyalty Member shall be entitled to redeem the balance of his/her loyalty points until such time that this agreement terminates as per clause 1.2. 2 Loyalty Member Benefits 2.1 The Loyalty Member can earn and redeem loyalty points only at QUANTUMSPA, RadissonbLU Hotel, Beach Road, Granger Bay, Cape Town. 2.2 The Loyalty Member shall receive once during every 12 (twelve) month cycle and only in the month of his/her birthday and subject to him/her first purchasing any treatment of choice during his/her birthday month, a complimentary treatment of his/her choice (“birthday voucher”), provided that such treatment is limited to 60 (sixty) minutes and is a treatment falling in the category of a 60 (sixty) minute treatment. 2.3 The Loyalty Member will receive notification of monthly Spa offers as well as Spa Competitions which he/she can enter, which are exclusive to Loyalty Members. 2.4 Each time a Loyalty Member books an AquaJourney Treatment, he/she will be able to bring a friend or partner to enjoy the Journey Treatment with him/her at no cost to the friend or partner. 3 Earning Loyalty Points 3.1 Each time a Loyalty Member purchases a treatment (no limit on type or value of treatment purchased) at the Spa, he/she will earn 10% (ten percent) of that treatment cost (exclusive of VAT) back in loyalty points on his Loyalty Card. 3.2 Each time a Loyalty Member purchases a retail product (no limit on type or value of retail product purchased) at the Spa, he/she will earn 10% (ten percent) of the cost of that retail product (exclusive of VAT) back in loyalty points on his/her Loyalty Card. 3.3 Each time a Loyalty Member introduces a friend to QUANTUMSPA Exclusive Rewards Program and that friend successfully signs up as a Loyalty Member and pays the joining fee as a result of such introduction, the Loyalty Member who introduced the friend will earn 150 loyalty points on his Loyalty Card. 3.4 Loyalty points may be redeemed only by the Loyalty Card Holder against any treatment at the Spa. 3.5 An example of how a Loyalty Member can redeem his/her loyalty points is explained below in clause 4 4 Redeeming Loyalty Points 4.1 Within 7 (seven) working days from when the Loyalty Member accumulated his/her loyalty points, are such points available to be redeemed in terms hereof. 4.2 After the Loyalty Member has enjoyed a treatment at the Spa, the loyalty points will be calculated automatically when the loyalty member pays for the treatments or products 4.4 A statement of each Loyalty Member’s transactions and balances (number of loyalty points redeemable) can be obtained from the Spa. 4.5 Each Loyalty Member’s loyalty points on any given transaction will only reflect on the Spa’s system after ± 7 (seven) working days of any given transaction. 5 General 5.1 The Spa reserves the right to change the Loyalty Member Benefits and terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. 5.2 Only 1 (one) Loyalty Member may earn loyalty points on a transaction. 5.3 Only 1 (one) Loyalty Member may redeem loyalty points on a treatment. 5.4 Loyalty points cannot be exchanged for cash. 5.5 The Loyalty Card and/or Loyalty Membership are not transferable. 5.6 Loyalty points and Loyalty Member Benefits apply when purchasing any treatment at the Spa and the Loyalty Member acknowledges that the treatments are always subject to availability. Loyalty points cannot be used to pay for special promotional treatments. 5.7 The Birthday Voucher is valid on the Loyalty Member’s next visit after obtaining the Loyalty Card, with proof of identification and on presentation of the Loyalty Card only. 5.8 Loyalty points can be accumulated from 1 January through to 31 December of each year and may be redeemed at any time during this period. If not redeemed, loyalty points will expire each consecutive year on the 28th of February, i.e.: 5.8.1 Loyalty points expiring on 28 February 2009 = loyalty points accumulated during any calendar month of the year 2008. 5.8.2 Loyalty points expiring on 28 February 2010 = loyalty points accumulated during any calendar month of the year 2009. 5.9 Loyalty Cards are purchased at a once-off cost of R165 (one hundred and sixty five rand) and a fee of the same amount will be charged for the replacement of a lost card. Once the Loyalty Card Holder reports a lost Loyalty Card to the Spa, the Loyalty Card will be blocked until such time as the Loyalty Card Holder pays the fee and re-activates the Loyalty Card. No loyalty points will be lost and the balance of the loyalty points on the lost Loyalty Card for that Loyalty Member will be transferred to the new Loyalty Card. 5.10 Loyalty Member Benefits are only available on presentation of the Loyalty Card or positive identification from ID, Driver’s Licence or Passport. 5.11 The Loyalty Member through his/her signature hereof agrees, confirms and acknowledges to be bound to the terms, conditions and rules applicable to the Spa as amended from time to time.
